Stephen maintains a broad corporate and intellectual property practice, advising clients (including biotechnology companies and technology companies) on various transactions, for example, inbound and outbound intellectual property licensing (i.e. technology transfer), intellectual property driven collaboration, joint venture, financing, mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring of companies. He helps his client to evaluate and manage their intellectual property assets.
Stephen has extensive experience with patents, having served as a U.S. Patent Examiner in the USPTO, as well as being a registered U.S. Patent Agent. Stephen has also worked in the technology transfer office of a university and a US law firm.
