Christie’s practice focuses on corporate finance with a strong emphasis on initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary market fund raisings, listed company compliance and related transactions. She has extensive experience in advising international and local companies seeking flotations on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and sponsors/underwriters to the applicants. She also advises on mergers and acquisitions; pre-IPO investments; corporate restructuring; China-Appointed Attestation Officer services; and wills and probate matters.
Christie has extensive experience in IPOs. She has assisted the successful listing of companies engaged in various industries on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange including Skymission Global Group, Kidztech Holdings, Mansion International, Golden Faith, In Construction, Strong Petrochemical, Hong Kong ChaoShang Group, Elife Holdings, Ding Yi Feng, Tong Ren Tang, Upbest Group, Core Economy Investment and UBA Investments.
Christie qualified to practise as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong and the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 1997 and 1998, respectively. She has been appointed as a China-Appointed Attesting Officer by the Ministry of Justice of the PRC since 2012. Christie has previously practised in, among others, DLA Piper Hong Kong.
Christie is awarded as “A List – The Growth Drivers Lawyer”by China Business Law Journal in 2023.
