Gilbert focuses his practice on civil and commercial matters, both contentious and non-contentious, including civil litigation, contractual review, intellectual property, wills and probate, family matters, and conveyancing.
Gilbert qualified in Hong Kong in 2010. Prior to joining the legal profession, he had a wealth of commercial experience, having held senior management positions with major local and international corporations including IBM, Cable & Wireless, Philips, and PCCW.
Gilbert is currently an advisor in the Telecommunications Regulatory Affairs Advisory Committee of the Office of Communications Authority of the Hong Kong Government, a member of the Community Relationships Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong, a Committee Member of the Industry Training Advisory Committee of the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong Government, and the Honorary Secretary of the Communications Association of Hong Kong. Gilbert is also an Accredited Mediator of the Hong Kong Mediation Centre.
